USB and USB-C hubs are a dime a dozen. What you need to know before you buy one is based on your needs of workflow and dataflow. USB hubs vs USB-C hubs can come in a variety of types with a variety of price points. Powered vs nonpowered can also play a critical point.

In this video I look at the USB Hub from ORICO along with the USB-C hubs (powered and non powered) from Startec that you can buy from Amazon. I explain the different aspects of needs and wants so you can start to thing about what you need in before you buy!

NOTES: Theoretical max speed of 10Gbps is 1250 MB/s. In the video I state 900MB/s as this is the average we usually see especially if you use an external device such as the 10Gbps external SSD NVMe case.
